Minimum Recommended
RAM 2GB 4GB
CPU 1 core 2 cores
Disk 10GB 20GB

For high-traffic setups or long data retention, consider 40GB+ disk space.

#Method 1: Automated Setup (Recommended)

The fastest way to get PingPanther running is using our setup scripts.

#🍎 Linux / macOS

# 1. Clone the repo
git clone https://github.com/paramientos/pingpantherio.git
cd pingpantherio

# 2. Run the setup script
chmod +x dockerize.sh
./dockerize.sh

#🪟 Windows

# 1. Clone the repo
git clone https://github.com/paramientos/pingpantherio.git
cd pingpantherio

# 2. Run the setup script
.\dockerize.ps1

#Method 2: Manual Setup

If you prefer to run the commands manually:

# 1. Clone and setup environment
git clone https://github.com/paramientos/pingpantherio.git
cd pingpantherio
cp .env.example .env

# 2. Generate key and edit .env with your configuration
# Make sure to set DB_PASSWORD and REDIS_PASSWORD

# 3. Start containers
docker compose up -d

#🔄 Rebuilding (Clean Build)

To rebuild from scratch:

./dockerize.sh

docker compose down && docker compose build --no-cache && docker compose up -d

#🔧 Management Commands

PingPanther includes several useful Artisan commands for system administration:

#Password Reset

Reset any user's password interactively:

php artisan pp:reset-password

#Monitor Checks

Manually trigger monitor checks:

php artisan pp:monitors-check

#Data Pruning

Clean up old data (older than 1 month):

php artisan pp:prune

#Create Admin User

Create a new admin user:

php artisan pp:create-admin email@example.com password123
