The official Laravel starter kit for Livewire.

This project serves as a test environment for verifying the functionality and integration of the following packages:

[!NOTE] This project is originally based on the Laravel Livewire Starter Kit.

#Overview

This application is built with Laravel and demonstrates the usage of modules and themes. It includes a refactored Auth module that encapsulates authentication logic, Fortify actions, and Livewire components.

It is also kept current with the latest ecosystem features:

  • Laravel Modular 1.2 production diagnostics: modular:doctor, modular:status, modular:debug, modular:graph, and modular:why.
  • Laravel Themer 1.4 diagnostics, preview URLs, cache refresh, and design tokens.
  • Laravel Boost guidance from the installed Modular and Themer packages.
  • Module and theme manifests using requires, conflicts, provides, and tokens.

#Local Setup

To set up the project locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/AlizHarb/laravel-modular-themer-tester.git
cd laravel-modular-themer-tester

  2. Install dependencies:

    composer install
npm install

  3. Configure environment: Copy the example environment file and configure your database settings:

    cp .env.example .env
php artisan key:generate

    Ensure you have a database set up and referenced in your .env file.

  4. Run migrations:

    php artisan migrate

    The modules also support migrations, ensuring a complete database setup.

  5. Build frontend assets:

    npm run build

  6. Serve the application:

    php artisan serve

#Running Tests

To run the tests, specifically for the Auth module:

php artisan modular:test Auth

#Ecosystem Smoke Checks

Use these commands after package upgrades:

php artisan modular:doctor
php artisan modular:status --json
php artisan modular:debug Auth --json
php artisan theme:doctor
php artisan theme:status --json
php artisan theme:tokens default --css
php artisan theme:preview default --path=/dashboard
